CONSOLIDATED SERVICES and increased health care assistance provided by Health Partners to the underserved residents of Miami County. This is being accomplished by:
- Identify and secure a single, central location for ALL Health Partners medical activities
The current level of assistance being provided by Health Partners has reached a maximum. For approximately the last year, patients have been turned away from the clinic weekly. Our resources will not sustain any growth.
- Increase our volunteer staff
IT IS IMPORTANT that medical personal have flexibility in their schedules. By having a space that can operate varied hours, physicians and others would have the flexibility to offer their services when their schedule permitted. They would not be locked into the Thursday 6pm-8pm time slot. Also, close proximity to the hospital and being located between Piqua and Troy may make volunteering for HPMC more appealing and increase the volunteer base.
- Supplement our volunteer staff with paid staff
With the increased permanent space, it will be critical to have paid staff available to perform day to day operations.
- Secure ongoing financial support
Health Partners does not have a revenue generating program. Patients treated by Health Partners pay no fee or charge. The assistance given is completely free to the patient. In order to remain viable, ongoing financial support has been solicited from local foundations, businesses, and individuals. With this expansion, Health Partners will need to secure more permanent funding through stronger partnerships and collaborations.
